There are 5 main Lamco gauge types and subvariants within them, and many owners mix and match to setup their car the way they want it. Whatever gauges you have, it's no problem to customise a harness to suit your requirements.
About 50% of my orders are custom. To give you an idea of what the latest harness design looks like, here is an image of a complete kit to drive 4 gauges: oil temp, oil pressure, boost and voltage (this is actually the standard Subaru 4-gauge package I do, but custom harnesses look practically identical). I'm utilising premium german style DT waterproof automotive plugs to separate the harness into two main halves: the sensor side (engine bay) and the gauge side (interior). Basically you install the sensors, plug them in and run the wiring through the engine bay and into the cabin. Then plug the other half of the harness on and plug in the lamco gauges. All that is needed is to power up the harness from 3 wires from your car electrical system: 12V switched, ground and 12V headlight, which are labelled flying wires.
Above: here is what a custom kit might look like. It's much the same as a standard kit, but will have exactly the sensors and gauge plugs that you need. I usually throw in a spare backlight bulb too, in case you find one has failed when you power everything up (this happens as the gauges are quite old and usually sitting around for years).
I hand assemble and test each kit thoroughly before shipping. This includes bench testing the entire kit end-end from sensor to gauge pins along with a final installation in my 1997 V4 STI to show your harness running on my lamco gauges and engine bay sensors. I record these test videos and provide a personal overview to each and every customer.
The final price depends on the gauges you have. Some have simpler requirements (the boost gauge and voltmeter do not require sensors) and others, such as oil temp and oil pressure require sensors and engine bay wiring. The oil pressure gauge is the most expensive, as it requires custom electronics to drive the oil pressure sensor (which requires a 5V stable supply voltage) as well as retain the low oil warning light functionality in the cabin instrument cluster.
I have a business Paypal account, facilitating easy payment with buyer protection, which is the most preferred method. I also have a WISE account (formerly TransferWise) with bank accounts in most currencies. Build time is usually 3-5 days and shipping via international courier is typically 3-10 business days.
To ensure you get the right kit for your car, I don't sell directly via the website. Instead I use a quote-order process where you contact me (via the contact button below) and provide details of your setup. Once I have your details I can email you a quote with a final price including shipping to your door. The quote contains options for payment via Paypal if you decide to proceed. Once I receive payment I'll confirm receipt, and begin assembling your kit. Once it's tested I'll ship it and send you an email with the tracking information, along with build photos and a personalised video fly over of your harness on the test bench.
